The practice partners, Dr Caroline, Dr Gordon and Dr Nelson have over 40 years of combined experience in dentistry between the practice partners. We have vast experience in everything from routine family dentistry, orthodontics, treating anxious patients, restoring dental implants and cosmetic dentistry such as veneers and composite bonding. All of the partners have undertaken multiple post graduate examinations to ensure we offer the most advanced and up to date treatments for our patients.

Dr Caroline, Dr Gordon and Dr Nelson have worked closely with one another during the majority of their time in dentistry. At one point they all worked together as dental associates in the same dental practice for over 5 years!

Yes. Many patients may be registered at another practice who are not yet able to offer hygiene treatment for their patients. We have invested in the highest tech ventilation in all of our surgeries which means we can dedicate one of our surgeries for hygienist use.
Our hygiene therapists work independently and patients wishing to have this treatment can book in without having to see on of our dentists or register with the practice.
Our hygiene therapy team are dedicated to improving your oral health by treating active gum disease and teaching you how you can prevent future gum problems to prevent premature tooth loss. The hygiene appointments are longer than a traditional scale and polish visit which allows time to create a bespoke at-home care routine for you. In addition to this, they offer our Airflow Diamond Polish treatment. This is a high powered device which uses a combination of a specially designed micro powder, air and water to gently and effectively remove even the toughest stains.

Yes, we are currently registering new patients on a private basis. On registration, we will carry out a comprehensive assessment where we will discuss your options for treatment. We offer a full range of private treatments and your dentist will be able to discuss what treatment is best suited to you. We have a private fee list which is available on our website.

At Woodstock Dental, every dentist has allocated emergency appointment slots each day. If these have not been filled by our registered patients, we can see you to assess and treat your dental emergency. On most occasions if you call us in the morning, we will be able to see you on the same day.
For unregistered patients, there is a consultation fee of £50 and for any treatment required, the dentist will fully discuss the treatment options and relevant
fees.

Many people feel anxious at the thought of even stepping into the waiting room of a dental surgery. Don’t worry! This is a very common problem and there is no reason to feel embarrassed about it. All of our dentists have treated many, many patients with dental phobias. Sometimes patients may be worried about the volume of treatment they may need, but it all starts with a simple check-up and most often it’s much easier and the list of treatment needed isn’t as long as you would imagine. We endeavour to be kind and patient with everyone we see but please do tell us if you have a phobia and we will make sure to use extra TLC and take your dental visits at a pace that suits you.
We would advise booking an examination appointment to determine exactly what is the cause of discoloration. It may be what is known as extrinsic staining from coffee, red wine a smoking, and an Airflow Polish treatment with our hygienist would remove these stains. It may be old leaking fillings or crowns, in which case we can discuss options for replacement. Or it could be the natural tooth colour. Our teeth yellow and darken over time and at-home professional tooth whitening is a highly effective treatment which lightens the natural tooth colour with long lasting effects.
